Mr. Koshy holds a BSEE degree from the University of South Florida. His area of expertise includes general Power Quality, with an emphasis on protective devices. He has had experience in manufacturing, engineering design, and has taught continuing education courses all over the United States and abroad. Mr. Koshy is a member of several engineering societies including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He is currently working for Smiths in the Engineered Power Solutions group for LEA International. His primary focus is on Transient Voltage Surge Suppression (TVSS) or Surge Protection Devices (SPD) focusing on industry standards (IEEE, UL, NEC, etc.).
